Have you ever followed a surprising hunch about something that turned out to be helpful/true? Just about all of us get them. I'd love to hear one of yours, big or small.
I'm collecting "I had a hunch" stories for my newest media project, a storytelling platform that will explore intuition (our deeper knowing), how we use it, and how tuning into our intuition can make our lives more fun, connected, and meaningful.
What exactly is a hunch? It's "an idea based on a feeling for which there is no proof/evidence." It's when you say or do something because you "just knew."

Examples I've heard: you followed a hunch telling you not to go to a party and then found out something bad happened there; got a desire to talk to a stranger in class who became your good friend; felt a nudge out of nowhere to move to a new city; change your college major; quit your job; start gardening even though you're a green thumb; date someone nothing like your usual type who ended up being "the one."
The more stories we hear, the more that "hunches" become normalized for all of us and the more we can all learn to trust our inner knowing.
I will not share your story without your permission or share your email with anyone else.
